Air Shower

The air shower is a necessary access to the clean room and can reduces the contamination problems caused by entering and leaving the clean room. It is installed between the clean room and the non-clean area. When people want to enter the clean area, they need to be blown through in air shower room, where the clean air blown out can remove the dust carried by them. It can effectively block or reduce the dust source into the clean area. The air shower has electronic interlocks of the front and rear doors, which can exert as an airlock, preventing unpurified air from entering the clean area.

After the air has been filtered through the channel, it is then pressed into the static pressure box of the air shower by the high pressure fan. The filtered clean air is sprayed onto the person from all directions by rotatable nozzles, thus effectively removing the dust particles. The particles will then be filtered and re-circulated to the air shower afterwards.

Air shower can be divided into straight thru air shower, 90-degree air shower, 3-door air shower, tunnel air shower and cart air shower.

·Straight thru air shower:

The entry door and exit door are straight across from one another. This is the most common type of air shower. It can be further divided according to the capacity and nozzle direction into: single-person single-side air shower, single-person double-side air shower, double-person double-side air shower, triple-person double-side air shower, etc.

·90-degree air shower:

The air shower can be provided with the doors in a 90-degree configuration for those applications where a straight thru path can not pass.

·3-door air shower:

This air shower has three doors. The typical configuration is one entrance door and two doors exiting to two different clean rooms.

·Tunnel air shower:

Two or more air showers can be combined to form a integral unit. By adding complete sections and efficient arrangement of nozzles, a whole tunnel air shower will be built after that. These tunnels can be used for “large batch” cleaning (a large number of people’s entrance and exit as a group) or for “continuous flow” cleaning, and the showering time is determined by how long it takes to walk the length of the tunnel. Both 90-degree and straight-through air showers can be combined to form the tunnel configuration. NOTE: The cost for additional sections is lower than the basic unit, because the extra electrical control is covered by the first unit, so the additional units don’t need those costs.

·Cart air shower:

The cart air shower is a necessary passage for goods to enter the clean room, which can reduce the pollution brought by goods entering and exiting. Generally, the cart air shower is not equipped with stainless steel or wooden safety floors mainly because there are often carts entering and exiting. If a safety floor is added, it may be deformed by rolling, and the floor is not in a horizontal line with the ground, which makes it inconvenient for the entry and exit of cargo. This type of air shower can use swing doors, sliding doors, fast rolling door or no doors at all.
